An orchard of plum, pear and apple trees are all that remain of the hospital that once stood at Fulford, York. This is an apple tree but I call it Moontree. To me the moonlight gives it a ghost-like quality.Today the orchard is the Fulford Community Orchard, maintained by volunteers so that local residents can continue to enjoy the orchard’s trees, fruit and wildlife.
